The New 143 Front Street

We are happy to share that after two months of renovation, our flagship at 143 Front Street has now officially reopened.

The beginning of our story was simple. A small stall at the Brooklyn Flea over a decade ago - just us, a few racks, and the morning air.

In 2012, we found our permanent home at 143 Front Street. Since then, this space has been a constant hum of new faces, familiar neighbors, and objects that tell their own stories. Last year, we opened FGS Outpost just down the street. That little upstairs shop brought us closer to everyone who walked through our doors, gave us more time to talk, to share, and to simply exist in the moment.

The Reimagined Space

 

Now, as we enter our 14th year, we wanted to bring that same feeling of "breath" back to our original home. After two months of renovations (and a lot of dust), we’ve expanded our flagship to make it feel exactly how we’ve always imagined it.

It’s not just about a larger floor plan; it’s about more time. We’ve added more displays and extra fitting rooms so you never feel rushed. We’ve created more corners where you can simply stand and take it all in, rather than being swept along by the crowd. There’s a clearer layout, a smoother flow, and, quite literally,  better air conditioning.

Rooted in the Slow

The walls have moved, but our focus remains: well-made garments, objects, and tools. We’ve always believed that good things should invite you to stay a little longer.

Whether it’s the time you spend discovering a rare vintage find in our new aisles, or the years a sturdy original design spends in your wardrobe - we value pieces that grow with you. Our hope is that this reconstruction offers you exactly that: a place to slow down, and a collection that lasts.

Along with the new space, our own designs will continue to be shaped by archival details and materials chosen because they handle age with grace. They are made for the person who obsesses over the history of a stitch, and for the person who just wants a quality shirt that feels like home the second they put it on. Moving forward, we are excited to keep expanding this collection, bringing you more pieces built for lasting wear.

None of this would be possible without the community that has grown around us since our first days at the flea market. We are deeply grateful for your support over the past 14 years, and to the friends and partners who helped us make this new chapter a reality.

We are incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and even more proud to share this new space with you.
